Bladeless Knife Without The Handle

Overview

Bladeless Knife Without the handle is a painting and performance piece created by Bow Young and Black Angel Baby. We are humans with faulty memories and wavering hearts. We desperately need the weight of each other's presence to conceive of our own; we put each other in context. While thinking about this and constructing this piece, it became clear that my root question was: How do we actualize our lives? How do we know? The three points I began to consider, the pillars of understanding how we all go about actualizing the truth of our lives, were: Record, witness, and body. These three points of actualization are explored in three acts in Bladeless Knife Without the Handle.
