Overview

about a student film. a pilot test. Original journey was intended to be in Valletta, Malta with my bedridden grandmother, metaphorically walking her through her childhood space and time. due to financial and time constraints journey happened in Avebury part inspired by Derek Jarman's Journey to Avebury, preservation and genius loci. preservation of memories as well as of places captured by film. The practice of lending and creating identity to a place. Contrast to a 'non-place'. In the end I ended up with a failed resurrection attempt. Sometimes place need stronger libations.
