Overview

The Climber tells the story of Buntarō Mori, a quiet and lonely student who discovers a passion for climbing after reaching the top of his school building. The feeling of freedom he experiences drives him to continue climbing, and it gradually becomes his way of escaping isolation and understanding himself. As he grows older, he takes on more dangerous challenges, eventually aiming to climb the deadly mountain K2.
